The Turkish state and the Islamist, jihadist, fascist government of Syria continue to do everything in their power to prevent the Kurds in Rojava from gaining any status. These days, it is as if Golani had come out of the Democratic Union and been placed at the head of Syria, declaring that the existence of the Kurds in Rojava does not represent all Kurds, while inviting a minor Kurdish representation in Southern Kurdistan to create a side, a front. This is nothing but the murderers’ attempt at deceit and trickery. They are trying to undermine the collective Kurdish agreement and the demand for autonomy and, naturally, for an independent Kurdistan. But if you ask what the Kurdish representatives are doing against this, the reality is a major retreat and inaction. Under normal circumstances, Rojava, just like the Druze communities, should loudly claim its independence and self-governance, yet it continues to negotiate with Golani, the representative of ISIS, and to listen to the threats of the fascist Turkish state. A firm stance must be taken immediately, and the Kurds, with their already strong army, must secure their independence with the support of Israel. Israel is an indispensable partner for the Kurds in the region and shares many common enemies and common interests. Therefore, the time to unite and directly declare independence has come – and already passed.
On the other hand, it is a disgraceful situation that the party in Turkey which claims to represent the Kurds – the DEM Party – is collaborating with the MHP and the AKP, whose hands are soaked with Kurdish blood. This has never been accepted by the conscience of the Kurds. The DEM members, who almost always appear side by side with the MHP, have by now lost their representation of the Kurds and have become a party of the Turkish Republic. To lean towards the MHP, which has never even sought a reason to massacre Kurds, as well as towards Bahçeli and Erdoğan, is nothing but betrayal of the memory, the suffering, and the struggle of the Kurdish people.
